Why do they all find her attractive? Humans really aren’t objectively attractive animals, they only find each other attractive in the same way that pigs find each other attractive. I know this because I remember how hideous I found naked adult humans to be when I was a child. I can still see it to this day but it was really obvious as a kid. I guess the martian cat people all have monkey fetishes for some reason?
Part of it is the tradition in cheesy SF that aliens always lust after Earth Females. Yes, it is a cliche; but I will freely admit to being cheesy and not above resorting to cliches. I tried to justify it somewhat by having one of the guards complain that they’ve been away from Mars so long that it’s been ages since they’ve seen any females; (except for Sir Nigel’s assistant, Miss Darling, whose venomous personality is something of a turn-off, even for lonely soldiers). And although I have some of the Cat-Men regard Ginger as exotic, some of them are repelled by her lack of fur, (depending on which reaction, under the circumstances, I thought was funny). As is shown later on, one of the reasons Admiral Coeurl “gifts” Ginger with an artificial tail is because he thinks her fanny looks funny without one.
But thanks again for your feedback. I apologize for not responding sooner.
