Furry Theater of the Air

A furry artist named David Hopkins has done a YouTube video in which he and some of his friends do dramatic readings of a couple of my stories that ran many years ago in GENUS, an adult furry anthology comic published by Radio Comix.  The stories are on the bawdy side, because that’s the kind of comic book GENUS was, but they have been tastefully edited to be Safe For Work, Mostly.

The first story, “Dungeon for Two”, is about a D&D game that veers off in unexpected directions, because as every Game Master knows, no plot, no matter how well-planned, ever survives contact with the players.  And includes pistachio pudding.  The second, “Hard Sell”, is about an insurance salesman and a wrong briefcase.  The video also includes a brief phone interview with me and more bits of my artwork.

The Archives Are Back !

Yeah, it took me long enough, but I have finally finished re-posting the archived pages that I lost a few months ago.  And hopefully, the way I did it this time, the archives won’t get wiped out again the next time I update WordPress.  The Index still needs to be fixed, but you can still do basic navigation through the back pages.

I will begin posting new pages next week.

“It’s Not My Fault !!!”

To begin with, Ginger wants to make perfectly clear that she is not to blame.  The fault is entirely mine.

In updating the WordPress template I use for this site, I somehow managed to obliterate all the archived pages of my webcomic.  I’m pretty sure the pages still exist… somewhere… but their links now all re-direct to the home page.  And yes, long-time readers will recall that I’ve done this before.  You’d think I’d know better by now.

For the time being, I am going to continue to update the current story at it’s normal slow pace, and re-post the lost pages little by little until they’re all filled in again.  I will begin by re-posting the current “Danger Cay” storyline, then go back to “Cat-Men From Mars”.

(Okay, Ginger; I apologized.  You can put down the baseball bat now…)

Support Our Troops !

sign promo color 03One of the projects I’ve been working on this spring was a children’s book I illustrated titled “Troop on the Stoop”.  It was written by a fellow named Blake Wayman as a companion to a toy he designed.

Blake is a former serviceman who works in Health Care with children. In his job, he sees a lot of children who are struggling because they are separated from a parent or other family member who is serving in the military.  Blake came up with “Troop” to be a “battle buddy” for these kids; a friendly face when their loved one isn’t around.

New Adventures ! Come Visit Danger Cay

With the conclusion of SKY TERROR of WENG HU, we’re ready to embark on an all-new adventure for HANNIBAL TESLA ADVENTURE MAGAZINE.  And, there will be a few changes as well.

First of all, the webcomic is falling back to a once-per-week schedule. Sorry, but that’s about the best I can do right now.  But to make up for it, the comic will now be in Color.

I will also be offering some new incentives for my PATREON donors.  All current donors pledging $1.00 per month or more will receive a hand drawn, hand colored 3X5″ drawing of one of our cast members of the donor’s choice.  Each donor pledging $5.00 or more will also receive a cartoon portrait of him or herself, in the persona of an adventurer from the Futuristic World of 1935.  This incentive will be offered not only to current PATREONS, but also to everyone who becomes a PATREON donating to this site during the month of February.

The new storyline, DANGER CAY, is beginning this week.
