\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Perihelion Grue, Rocket Pilot:<\/strong>\u00a0 The daughter of one of the nation’s leading rocket scientists, Peri is a skilled rocket pilot herself, and makes friends with Ginger.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Willie Brightman, Radio Astronomer:<\/strong>\u00a0 A brilliant young scientist who works with the radio telescope on the Goddard Space Station.\u00a0 An earnest young man, Willie is sometimes frustrated that he is not taken seriously by the other scientists on board the Station.\u00a0 He has discovered a mysterious signal coming from the depths of space which someone really ought to take seriously…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Benjamin Grue, Rocket Scientist:\u00a0<\/strong> Dr. Grue is a colleague of Robert Goddard, the man who led the first expedition to the Moon, and is a reknowned rocket scientist in his own right. He is in charge on the Mars Expedition.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s also the one who named his daughter “Perihelion”.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sir Nigel Malcolm-Sangazure:<\/strong>\u00a0 Sir Nigel is the Chief Astronomer for the British Stent Observatory located on the far side of the Moon.\u00a0 He is visiting Goddard Station and has nothing do do with the mysterious accidents taking place.\u00a0 Why would he?\u00a0 He has a private rocket ship, the Cleopatra’s Needle.\u00a0 He also has a pencil-thin mustache.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Miss Belladonna Darling:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 Miss Darling is Sir Nigel’s secretary and personal pilot.\u00c2\u00a0 She is highly efficient.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Major Brad Carter:<\/strong>\u00a0 An officer of the U.S. Army Space Corps and the man who will serve as Commander of the Mars Expedition.\u00a0 He is in charge of the Millitary’s role in the construction of the Mars Rocket, and as such is leading the investigation into the mysterious accidents which have been occurring<\/p>\n

Burke:<\/strong>\u00a0 Yes, who is Burke anyway…?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lieutenant Mrel<\/strong>:\u00a0 A Martian scout who’s part of the Cat-Men’s invasion force on the Moon.\u00a0 Having captured Ginger, he thinks he ought to be able to keep her.<\/p>\n

\"thumbffft\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Commander Ffft:<\/strong>\u00a0 Officer in charge of the Martian’s advance bace on the Moon.\u00a0 He doesn’t particularly like Earthlings, and doesn’t see why they shouldn’t just kill Ginger right away.\u00a0 It’s the sensible thing to do.<\/p>\n

Admiral Coeurl<\/strong>:\u00a0 Supreme commander of the Martian invasion fleet.\u00a0 He takes an interest in Ginger. Since he outranks everybody else, he’s the one who gets to keep Ginger.<\/p>\n

\"thumblunarian\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Lunarian:<\/strong>\u00a0 Representative of a long-vanished alien race on the Moon<\/p>\n

Lord Rumtum:<\/strong>\u00a0 Chief Advisor to the Martian Emperor, who thinks that the Earthlings are a threat to Mars<\/p>\n

Arch-Prelate Ackthpt:<\/strong>\u00a0 High Priest of Mars, who thinks that the Earthlings are an abomination<\/p>\n

Emperor Antigonous Excelsior Rowlbrazzle Puff XXVIII:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Supreme Ruler of Mars.\u00a0 Ain’t he the cutest thing?<\/p>\n
